54 episode Anti-Aging(4)Handstand ❸ SK8-60
I continue to do the unsteady handstand every day. When I'm not feeling well, I feel like my shoulders aren't supporting me properly, so my kicking is only halfway . If my kicking leg is not strong enough, I cannot steadily lift my body up the wall. When this happens to me, I end up falling off the ground before my feet reach the wall. I've tried it a few times and I'm able to do it. Doing the handstand requires inner muscle strength, but it also requires that I have basic strength in my arms and shoulders to support myself first. I still can't support myself stably. The weakness of my shoulder muscles is worse than I thought.
I feel that the aging process accelerates more and more severely with each passing year after the age of 60. I still want to continue doing skateboarding tricks, so I can't ignore the decline in muscle strength around my shoulders. I'm trying to build shoulder strength (I can do the stable wall handstand). I believe it is true that it is possible to build muscle even at an older age, but I also think it would be quite difficult for a person in their 60s who has no goals (a person can't have motivation) to become obsessed with building muscle. People in their 30s to 50s may be able to regain their physical strength by putting it off, but if you are in your 60s and you keep putting it off thinking you're still young, the aging process will accelerate and you may not be able to regain it. I think it's easy to understand that if people (Japanese people) start to lose their physical strength in their 60s, their average healthy life expectancy (the period without restrictions on daily life) will be in their early 70s. I realized how hard it is to maintain my health and strength, because once I turned 60, my muscles would easily weaken if I didn't use them( when I did the handstand).
For me, since this is the final corner of my life, it may be important to live it as vibrantly and happily as possible. I believe it's difficult to improve basic physical strength without the motivation mentioned above, so it all comes down to how I mix it with fun.
