60episode Switch Ollie(6) SK8-60(Japanese)
As I improve my switch stance skating of the skateboard, my fear of going to the other side jumping in the practicing Switch Ollie gradually disappeared. I've been struggling with my failed Switch Ollies, but I'm gradually adapting this move and practicing. When I lift my body, I cannot eliminate the instability because my back leg is not my dominant leg. My back legs don't have the physical strength I need yet. As expected, my hind legs are not my dominant legs, so I lack the muscle strength extremely. I think a major reason I couldn't do Switch Ollie in my 50s because of lacking my hind leg of physical strength. So as I've mentioned before, my Switch Ollie will be a long-term prospect. The reality is that my Switch Ollie progress has continued very tough in my 60s.
My physical fitness has improved every year through practicing skateboarding tricks. However, most of my physical improvements have been in regular stance. My physical improvement in the above Switch Ollie has been minimal (as I have only practiced switch stance skating and Switch Ollies). My endurance is improving little by little and I'm also increasing my practice time. I really think practicing skateboard tricks has a great anti-aging effect.
I didn't feel this way when I first turned 60, but as I get older (even though it's only a short time), I seem to feel more and more fear (although this may just be my personal condition). I didn't felt to be afraid to practice Switch Ollies in my 50s. I doubt I would be able to go to ride on a rotating skateboard in the air in the Soccer Bowl Flip (Episodes 10 and 11)of that immature situation ,now. As I mentioned in Switch Ollie (5), my fear is a very troublesome problem because my defensive instinct makes me reflexively avoid legitimate actions. My 60s will likely be a struggle with fear.
