63episode Stretch SK8-60 (Japanese)

I know stretching is important, but I can't seem to stick with it. This time, I practiced the anti-aging  (6) Handstand ❺ (handstand with good posture) by simply raising my hands and  my shoulders were inserted In the right position at shoulder width. And for some reason, I'm actually continuing to do it, because it's an excellent upper-body stretch. When I'm in a handstand, both hands are on the floor, which restricts my ability to move each side of my body independently. But with this shoulder-insertion stretch, since my hands are up, I can freely move my left and right sides separately, stretching all the way to my back muscles. I can even do it with just one hand. I also feel like it's even better because I can use my free arm to assist or check the stretch. It’s perfect for a break from desk work, since I can do it right where I'm sitting.

Skateboarding tricks are a sport that involves falling. I think good skaters are skilled at falling. Building a flexible body is very important for avoiding injuries. Elite athletes like Shohei Ohtani move their bodies in a very fluid, "bendy" way. I was surprised when I saw a video of it (my memory is old, so I apologize if I'm mistaken).  To get back to my point, skateboarding tricks are a sport where falling is common, so it's easy to put your hands on the ground. As a result, I've had terrible pain in my palms, wrists, elbows, and shoulders. I believe this stretch is also effective for recovery. It makes my shoulders feel especially refreshed. The movement of inserting my shoulders in while maintaining good posture for a handstand felt so new to me that it might have become my latest obsession.

Making a body that doesn't get injured easily isn't a quick process, so stretching is crucial. However, I'm not confident I can stick with a stretching routine—I tend to stop doing things without even realizing it. I hope this temporary "my boom" doesn't just end and instead expands to my stretching in general.

(Caution) When it comes to stretching, effectiveness is important, but preventing injury is the most crucial thing. Please listen to your body and stretch in a way that is healthy and comfortable for you. Do so within a reasonable range and at your own risk.
